ND Day

What is ND Day?

Notre Dame Day is a massive, high-energy celebration and a chance to show some love for our ProfouND community! It is our biggest opportunity to raise the funds that keep us going all year long. Every dollar we raise goes towards our events, advocacy work, and the community meetings that bring us all together.

The ProfouND 5 for $5 Challenge

We aren't looking for large donations. We want to win by having the most people participate. We are asking each member to inivite 5 friends, family, or colleagues to donate $5 each.

  • The Goal: Get 5 people to give $5 each.
  • Why $5? The University gives us extra prize money based on the number of unique donors, not the total amount of money.

Win Prizes!

All members who successfully reach the 5 for $5 goal will be recognized at an ND Day celebration in May. In addition, the top three fundraisers who get the most unique donors will win:

  • 1st Place: Dinner for two at Rohr’s ($100 value)
  • 2nd Place: Four Dining Hall Passes ($70 value)
  • 3rd Place: Coffee and treats at Cafe J ($30 value)

We may add more prizes as we raise more funds!

How to Participate (takes 3 minutes!)

  1. Click: Go to the ProfouND ND Day page and click "Fundraise"

    Create an account: Enter your first name, last name, and email. Verify your email and create a password for your account.

    Save your link: Save your unique link to track your donors! Optionally, you can edit your profile by selecting "Manage Profile".

    Edit Your Profile (Optional): From your dashboard, you can edit your goal (we recommend starting at $25 for 5 for $5), add your story, or add a profile image.

    Share: Copy your personal link and send it to 5 friends! We recommend using the following language but feel free to personalize your message. 

"I’m participating in a challenge for my Notre Dame ERG, ProfouND, and we are competing for who can bring in the most donors rather than the most money! We support staff and faculty with disabilities as well as caregivers and advocates. Would you be willing to give $5 to help me win? It takes 60 seconds! [Your unique link]"
